Rhodes town is so lovely if you like stones, cobbled streets, ruins, history .
And I did an amazing 45 min tour with a submarine to see the depth sea with a diver who was showing us a giant lobster crab to our windows… Amazing what’s happening under the sea❤️
………
Today I ended up helping a group of 9 French people who couldn’t speak hardly English…
They were asking me their way to the old town , what I was looking also to discover, noticed their accent, switched in French and ended up exploring the old town for 2 hours with them, having a drink together and taking our bus back🤣

The importance of the languages:

Wouah my 1st day in Rhodes:
I can’t speak Greek, but English, French and Italian.

I was at a local supermarket near my hotel, and an Italian tourist wasting to have a conversation with the Greek shop assistant and his luggage and the broken wheel.
I saw his disappointment when she didn’t understand as he couldn’t speak English.

I had to intervene 🤗
He could speak Italian and French, but no English neither Greek.
So I talked to the tourist in Italian and translated to the shop assistant, and at the end he was so happy as he wanted a luggage shop as his luggage’s wheel broke after the flight and was looking for another model

It was cool to practice my Italian and be useful

French Holidays Beginners Online Course 10 weeks

Details of the course given by a native French speaker:

Dates: Sunday 06.11.2022- Sunday 22.01.2022

Time: 06:00- 07 PM

Level: Beginners French with little-no prior knowledge

Price: £150

Lessons: 10 lessons, 10 weeks, 1 hour each session

Course details: Holiday French with focus on being conversational. Main focus on speaking. Listening, reading, speaking, writing and grammar integrated.

Goals: By the end of this course, students will be able to go on holiday to a French-speaking country and have simple conversations about a variety of topics with native speakers of French. They will be able to get by and have simple interactions and know the basics to have a conversation on a range of topics. Also, they will have an insight into the French cultures and traditions.                                   Homework, exercices will be given at the end of each session.
