I am quite lucky to have a good friend, also a previous French student of mine who is a radio presenter of a local radio station Secklow-105.5. He invited me a couple of times to discuss about languages and my LINGO MIX: fun and interesting experiences.
1 year ago I was also invited to a local radio station–BBC Three Counties– to present my Lingomix International Language Café in Milton Keynes, great experience also, where the 2 radio presenters Katrina and Chris made me feel so much at ease, thanks so much. Here are some photos.
I love teaching my native French language . Amazing job, but not in schools anymore. I have taught in schools in UK, in France, but the best teaching jobs are the ones I teach in private for many reasons. The main reason is that you can give MORE in private sessions and bring YOUR SPECIAL teaching method and personality: knowing your students, watching them improving, contributing to their success in their language learning journey, having fun with them, they can really discover in depth and appreciate the culture of the country. I have now set up an online international language school where social, fun, culture of the language learning experience are important. 3 years ago when I said goodbye to my AMAZING DEAR BRAZILIAN FRIENDS FOR LIFE Sônia Pinto and Silvar Ribeiro FRIENDS FOR EVER
They have a special place in my heart as they were also one if the 1st International members of my LINGO MIX International Language Cafe in Milton Keynes, UK set up in July 2016. They came for an exchange for 1 year at our Open University, Milton Keynes as education researchers for an exchange with their University of Bahia.
At the beginning their level of English was not so great… And every week they came to my International gatherings and you could see their level of English improving, it was amazing to see that. And we became friends, seeing each other in the weeks, weekends, exploring UK and a trip to France, Chamonix where they discovered the snow and the ski 🤣🤣_ pretty good skiers they are too_
So many memories, places, laughs, photos, discovering other cultures together.. That’s what friendship is all about.
I will never forget the last moments together who broke my heart when we said BYE to each other…3 years ago. This photo was taken at their place when he did not know where to put all his hats, so he got an idea, as no more space in the suitcase, to put them on his head.. And we tried his hats. In the photo with my best friends all together for 1 year.. And more…
BUT I know we will see each other again.. And always be friends.
We still carry on chatting and seeing each other virtually, thanks of our modern technology.

I miss a lot France for different reasons: mainly because it is my native country, but also for its culture. It is hard sometimes to get used to a different culture. When I go there on holiday or anywhere else, what I like the most is trying traditional food, participating in celebrations, meeting local people and exploring the culture. We live in a world where there are so many different countries, places to visit and people. When you visit a country, you do not only explore the different landscapes, but also its own culture, of course it could be different of yours, but that is the charm of it.
I love meeting people with different cultures and languages, that’s why I have created my LINGO MIX.
